Is Mayhem Mller the biggest flop ever in the UFC?

A seasoned vet of MMA has seen it all from the organizations to the ends of the earth, sometimes not even getting paid right. Few fighters have seen the ins and outs of the MMA experience like those who did it Pre-TUF, while it wasn't legal in all states and was still considered human cockfighting. Mayhem Miller has his share of stories to tell and plenty of fame to go with it. The host of Mtv2's Bully BeatDown has legions of fans who follow him from Japan to the US. Here you have a guy who was seconds from defeating Jake Shields and had a solid showing against MMA legend Sakuraba, highlights that were never to be seen again from Miller. After becoming a fan favorite the UFC jumped at the chance to sign him and let him coach a season of TUF, adding rating to a series that need it. I personally saw how much his fans loved him at the UFC Fan Expo, this guy was a star. Then it was time for all the clowning around to end and when he stepped in to battle Bisping the action was not in his favor, he was outright beaten from opening to end. Was this a case of the Octagon jitters or was Miller exposed as not having the tools to compete against the top level athletes that make the UFC their home? The UFC gave him one last chance to make good on his contract and Miller being a fan favorite made for a no lose situation for the UFC. Well as we all know Miller was easily bested by CB Dollaway and as a result Miller is now retired. Was this the same guy that had traveled the World and climbed the ranks of the MMA ladder? Miller had been a Underground hero to some fans and a fixure in Japan, Hawaii and organizations outside the UFC. The chance at being on TV hosting Bully Beatdown made for a chance to gain more exposure and fame. Was Miller's goal to fight in the UFC or had he already accomplished everything prior to being called in? Was the UFC call-up simple just an added perk to an already storied career? The UFC could care less if he never won a single fight, they simple wanted the numbers that accompanied his presences. The time to walk their seperate ways was an easy decision and after all was said and done, Miller is a free spirit set free to do whatever it is that makes him Mayhem.

more like a disapointment then a flop.
It not like anyone thought he was gonna win the title when he came to the UFC.
But he could have focased more on fighting and less on marketing himself......

Mayhem Miller was the addition the UFC needed to boost rating for the TUF series and got a free trip to the ''big show''. I thought he would have at least made his two fights interesting but he was every bit blown out. There are so many fighters who wouldn't have blown their chance to be in the UFC, I think Mayhem made the right decision to retire.
