It looks like fight fans are in store for what has been dubbed as "the biggest rematch in the history of the business" when UFC Middleweight Champion - Anderson "The Spider" Silva, defends his crown once again in his native Brazil in a rematch against Chael Sonnen. During tonight's UFC 143 post-fight press conference, Dana White stated that both Silva and Sonnen have verbally agreed to the rematch and that the bout agreements should be finalized very soon.

Carlos Condit showed up saturday night, worked through a tentative first two rounds against a very game Nick Diaz, Condit seemed to find his stride in the third round where he was clearly frustrating Diaz with his stick and move style.

There is a new champion in the UFC, the new interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit made a statement as he used his technical striking to dominate his game opponent Nick Diaz on the scorecards and take home the title. Condit now gets a shot at George St. Pierre.

Former welterweight title contender Josh Koscheck competed in what was likely the closest contested fight of the night as he faced off against fearless up-and-comer Mike Pierce. When it was all said and done Koscheck was able to pull out a split decision victory.

Brandon Vera got his long awaited rematch with Thiago Silva booked on Feb. 2nd, at UFC on FX 3. Sadly for Vera, his rematch will now have to be sheleved indefinitely, Vera Sustained an injury during training that will prevent him from fighting silva.

Dana White revealed earlier today that he has recently been in talks with BJ Penn about the future of the MMA legend and what is next for the fighters career. As of now nothing has been decided but at least they are in talks.

Well-rounded bantamweight title contender Scott Jorgensen will be taking on the divisions number one rising prospect in Renan Barao in his next bout. Jorgensen says this is nothing new for him as he looks to go 3-0 inside of the octagon.
