Despite speculation that Greg Jackson may not corner light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones for his bout against former teammate Rashad Evans it turns out he will indeed be in the corner of the champion as Jon Jones confirmed earlier today.
"Greg Jackson confirmed today he will be in my corner for UFC 145," Jon Jones stated via his twitted account.
Greg Jackson originally stated that he would not be in the corner of Jon Jones or Rashad Evans should the two meet inside of the octagon, but now that Evans is no longer apart of the Jackson training camp it seems he has changed his mind and will now corner his team member Jon Jones.
The two light-heavyweight rivals are expected to settle their differences on April 21st as the title bout headlines UFC 145 which will be taking place at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georga. For more news, updates, and rumors on all things MMA stay connected with www.MMAMATRIX.com.
