
Lightweight grappling specialist Jacob "Christmas" Volkman and Paul Sass have agreed to meet at UFC 146 where the two impressive up and comers will look to make a statement in the division on their climb to the top of the 155-pound weight class.
It was confirmed by the UFC today that verbal agreements were in place which means the fight will likely be official for the card later in the week.
Currently on a very impressive five fight win streak and undefeated since making his lightweight debut Jacob Volkmann will be looking to show the MMA fans why he is a top fighter in the division after already picking up impressive victories over Efrain Escudero, Danny Castillo, and Antonio McKee.
Undefeated British BJJ brown belt Paul Sass is 12-0 in his MMA career picking up 11 wins by submission 8 of them by way of Triangle Choke. Sass is 2-0 inside of the octagon more recently submitting TUF standout Michael Johnson inside of the first round.
