Rampage Jackson clears up the air surrounding his beef with the UFC

rampagebustedup

Now at 4-3 since dropping the UFC Light Heavyweight Title to Forrest Griffin in 2008, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson is unsure about his immediate future in mixed martial arts. Jackson recently lost to Ryan "Darth" Bader at UFC 144 and also lost 20% of his fight purse from the UFC for failing to meet the division's weight requirements for competition for possibilty the first time in his 13 years in the sport. It also seems as if Rampage Jackson feels as if he has lost more respect from his organization and even from the fans. Jackson has just took it back to Twitter for a series of tweets that has a message, not only for the UFC and Dana White but also for his fans. Check this out...

@Rampage4real Let me clear things up 4 my fans,it might take 2 tweets! I'm upset cause I've been fighting hurt 4 a few years now,cause I have kids n 4yall

@Rampage4real The @ufc new I was hurt,n almost everyfight I was hurt n,but instead of saying thanks 4 not pulling out,they talk shit about a poor job....

@Rampage4real I did,I never missed weight,but when I do, nobody stop 4 a second 2 ask if I was hurt,yall just quick 2 talk shit,so I'm done with themafter

@Rampage4real I'm not complaining about money,cause I'm about 2 make a lot less money now,but at least the people I fight 4 will appreciate what I do4mma

Rampage and UFC President Dana White have never exactly had a very cooperative working relationship but now it seems as if Jackson is really pulling no punches now in his bitterness about what he feels is a lack of respect for what he has done for not only the organization, but for the sport overall.

Jackson has helped sell out 11 UFC pay per views since 2007 but it seems as if his loss to Ryan Bader in Japan last month may very well have been his last. Only time will tell if fight fans will see Rampage Jackson fight in professional mixed martial arts again, but if its goodbye, I tip my hat to a great guy with a great personality and an unique passion for the sport and his realness with the media and the fanbase. I have lost no respect for "Rampage". It should be interesting to see how the UFC or Dana White responds about Jackson's latest comments or tweets. Stick with MMAMatrix to catch up on all the details as they come rolling in.
