UFC on FX 3: McCall vs. Johnson rematch official & Papazian vs. Pague also likely for June 8th

The highly anticipated Flyweight Tournament semi-final rematch between Ian McCall and Demetrious Johnson is finally booked officially for June 8th at the newly announced UFC on FX 3.

The two flyweights initially battled to what should have been a draw, which should have then been followed by "Sudden Victory" fourth round, but sadly for the fighters, the UFC and us fans, the Australian judges screwed up, they miscalculated the judges cards and tallied the fight in Favor of Demetrious Johnson. It wasn't much later that the commission revealed the error, by that time, it was too late to implement the 4th "sudden victory" round.

Now the UFC has a date set for the match-up, which will finally determine who fights Joseph Benevidez in the tournament final. The tournament semi-final will now conclude at UFC on FX 3 on June 8, 2012.

Also another fight likely for the card will be a bantamweight bout between Jared Papazian and Dustin Pague. mmajunkie.com says sources have confirmed the match up.

Papazian just recently debuted in a battle against Mike Easton at UFC on FX 1, where Papazin suffered a close majority decision loss. The loss aside, Papazian performed very well, displaying his toughness and willingness to engage in a stand-up war against a very tough Easton.

Pague the TUF veteran is looking to get back into another winning streak after suffering a TKO loss to John Albert at the last TUF finale in December, snapping Pague's win streak at 5 fights.

Also likely for the card is a middleweight matchup between Buddy Roberts vs. Caio Magalhaes.
