
UFC 148 is stacking up to be a pretty nice looking card, UFC officials announced today the addition of another fight to the upcoming card.
The latest fight to be added to UFC 148 is a lightweight match-up between impressive UFC newcomer Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. UFC veteran Gleison Tibau.
UFC 148, is set for July 7 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and will feature a main event between bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and challenger Urijah Faber, who are also opposing coaches on "The Ultimate Fighter: Live." The placement of the fight on the card has yet to be announced.
Tibau is 5-1 in his last 6 fights, and is on a 3 fight win streak currently. Tibau last fought at UFC 139 in November where he beat Rafael dos Anjos in a very thin split decision.
Khabib Nurmagomedov debuted in January of this year, earning an impressive submission win over WEC veteran Kamal Shalorus in a great fight. Nurmagomedov is an excellent 17-0 so far in his career that only started professionally in 2008.
