Recently signed featherweight top prospect Hacran Dias has now been booked for his octagon debut at UFC 147 in Belo Horizonte Brazil. Dias who fights out of the esteemed Nova Uniao fight team is arguably one of the best Featherweights coming out of Brazil, Dias' addition to thre UFC roster adds yet another top level fighter to the UFC’s already stacked featherweight division.

Dias has put together an amazing 21-1 record mainly fighting in Brazil. Dias hasn’t lost a fight since 2009 and has gone on a 8 fight winning streak since then, and of those 8 fights, he’s only gone to a decision twice, finishing the other 6 opponents. Dias will definitely have his toughtest test to date against 27-3 Yuri Alacantara.

Alacantara also boasts an equally, if not more impressive 27-3 record. In all of Alacantara’s 27 wins, he has remarkably finished 23 of his opponents and only going to a judge’s decision 4 times in his entire career.  Alcantara hasn’t lost a fight since 2009 and has gone on a 13 fight win streak since that loss.  Alacantara last fought at UFC 142 in Rio where he beat Michihiro Omigawa via unanimous decision.

UFC 147 is set for June 23, 2012 in Belo Horizonte Brazil.
