Jon Jones gets to face another ex-light heavyweight champion, the current Light Heavyweight champ has sliced his way through the top fighters in the UFC's light Heavyweight division over the last year almost cleaning out the division completely. 

Dana white confirmed the Date minutes ago:

 

Dan Henderson is one of the last active light heavyweight champions in the UFC that Jon Jones has yet to face. In Jones' last 5 fights he has faced a murder's row of opposition, taking out Ryan Bader, Maurício Rua, Quinton Jackson, Lyoto Machida, and Rashad Evans most recently on April 21st. the last 4 being ex-light heavyweight champions. Henderson will be the last available ex-champ he will face, and if he beats Henderson, he would have pretty much cleaned out the division. 

Jones has fought 5 times since February 2011, so he will take the spring and summer off to recover and refocus.

Henderson  has been idle since fighting Mauricio Shogun Rua back at UFC 139 in November 2011, and by the time this next fight with Jones rolls around, it'll be almost a full year since he last stepped in the cage. However, he also has an entire 5 or so months to plan his fight against the champ. 

No event Name or number has yet to be associated with this date and location. 

UPDATE: It has been revealed that the event will be UFC 151.
