The UFC moments ago announced three more fights for the July 11 UFC on Fuel 4 card in San Jose, California.
Bantamweight and TUF 14 finalist TJ Dillashaw will square off against impressive British submission specialist Vaughan Lee. Both fighters are coming off wins in their last fights, where Dillashaw dominated Walel Watson for 3 rounds securing a unanimous decision at UFC on FUEL TV in Omaha, while Lee showed impressive skills when he submitted struggling and unlucky fan favorite Kid Yamamoto back at UFC 144 in Japan.
Also added was another bantamweight bout between Raphael Assuncao and Issei Tamura. Assuncao just recently debuted at bantamweight, defeating Johnny Eduardo at UFC 134 in Brazil via unanimous decision. Tamura who recently debuted at UFC 144 against Chinese fighter Tiequan Zhang as a last minute fill in for an injured Leonard Garcia. Tamura took a mere 34 seconds to KO Zhang. An impressive debut indeed.
A flyweight bout was also added. UFC veteran Chris Cariaso has decided to drop to the new 125-pound weight class along with TUF veteran Josh Ferguson, The two are now set to face off in San Jose.
UFC on FUEL TV 4 is booked for July 11th in San Jose, California.
