UFC on FUEL TV 4 just got another fight added to it, yet not officially. According to Aaron Simpson, he’ll be fighting none other than Jon Fitch on July 11th.
Simpson announced his fight via Twitter and during today’s Q & A session in Virginia. Simpson was extremely disappointed with his loss to a very large middleweight in Ronny Markes at UFC on Fuel TV 1 in February. At the time he had told mmaweekly.com that he was seriously considering dropping to 170.
Simpson will now debut at welterweight against the super tough Jon Fitch who is looking to rebound after his flash knockout loss to Johny Hendricks at UFC 141, handing Fitch only the fourth loss of his career
The UFC has yet to make this official, and no location has been made official as of yet either, the only thing official is the date for this event, which will be July 11th 2012.
