
Another Light heavyweight fight has been added to the upcoming UFC on FUEL TV 4 card on July 11th, Canadian Nick Penner and Tom DeBlass will face off on what will likely be the preliminary portion of the card.
According to Thescore.com, their sources close to the bout have confirmed the match up.
Both Penner and DeBlass are looking to rebound from their octagon debut losses, DeBlass who was the former Ring Of Combat light heavyweight champion suffered the first loss of his career at UFC on Fuel TV: Gustafsson vs. Silva in Stockholm Sweden, losing to French striker Cyrille Diabaté via majority decision, it was also the first time DeBlass had ever fought outside of his home state of New Jersey.
Penner who also came into his octagon debut flying high on a 8 fight win streak, A streak which was halted by Anthony Perosh via TKO (Punches) in literally the very last second of round one. Penner as well had never fought out of his home Province of Alberta before fighting at UFC on FX: Alves vs. Kampmann in Australia back in March.
