Manny Gamburyan looks like he'll get one more shot to keep his UFC contract at UFC on FOX 4, Gamburyan appears to be set to face off against Michihiro Omigawa who UFC career is also in a similar situation.
According to MMAFighting.com who originally broke the news, the two featherweights are set to square off at UFC on FOX 4.
Michihiro Omigawa has not fared so well recently, sporting a miserable 1-3 record in the UFC since coming over from DREAM in Japan. The only thing that may be saving Omigawa from the UFC's axe if he loses to Gamburyan, is that he's 1-1 in his last 2 fights.
Gamburyan is 0-2 in the UFC since coming over from the WEC after the promotion was folded. He's also 0-3 in his last 3 fights, a loss to Omigawa will almost certainly seal his fate as a UFC fighter.
UFC on Fox 4: "Stann vs. Lombard" will take place on Aug. 4, 2012, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
