The UFC just announced two fights that will be added to the upcoming UFC on FUEL TV 5 event in Nottingham, England in September.

London England’s Brad Pickett is set to face Canadian Yves Jabouin and Swede Akira Corassani will take on Sunderland England’s Andy Ogle in the UFC’s first trip to Nottingham.

Pickett who has been fighting professionally since 2004 sports a very respectable 21-6 record. In his most recent fight, Picket dispatched WEC veteran Damacio Page via rear naked choke at UFC on FUEL TV 2 in Sweden back in April which brought Pickett’s UFC record to an even 1-1.

The Canadian Jabouin who’s 18-7 has seemed to have found his stride lately going 4-1 in his last 5 fights and has won 3 fights in a row since he was transplanted from the WEC to the UFC. Jabouin last fought Jeff Houghland at UFC on FUEL TV 3 back on May 15, handling Houghland quite easily for 3 rounds, winning the fight by unanimous decision.

The Ultimate Fighter Live contestant Andy Ogle was unable to compete in the TUF Live finale due to an injury but will now get his long awaited octagon debut in his homeland of England, which is likely a better deal than fighting in the Finale. Ogle brings a 8-1 record and a 7 fight win streak into the octagon for his debut fight.

TUF veteran Akira Corassani who appeared in season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) reality TV series has yet to make his octagon Debut, he was initially set to fight at the UFC on FUEL TV2 card in Swededn but was forced to back out due to an injury. Although losing his most recent fight,  Corassani is 6-1-1 in his last 8 fights and looks to get back into the win column against Ogle.

UFC on FUEL TV 5 is booked for September 29, 2012 at the Capital FM Arena, Nottingham, England.
