UFC 149 keeps getting hit with injuries, and today yet another injury has affected the cursed card. Today it has been revealed that Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, "Big Nog", has been Injured and will not be able to fight Cheick Kongo in Calgary.

But as soon as word of Nog's injury comes, a replacement has been named. Replacing  Nogueira will be Shawn Jordan. 

Jordan most recently won his octagon debut against Oli Thompson at UFC on FX 2 on March 3 in Australia, winning by 1st round KO. Jordan of course doesn't bring the recognition or the challenge that Nogueira would have brought Kongo if he defeated him. Never mind that for the fans, a Shawn Jordan vs. Cheick Kongo match-up doesn't exactly get  everyone geared up either. 

Kongo is looking to put his last loss behind him where he was Knocked out by Mark Hunt at UFC 144 in Japan in March, which halted a 4 fight unbeaten streak for the Frenchman.  

Lets hope this is the last injury we have to report for this event.
