Another fight has been added to September’s UFC 151, a bantamweight match-up between Takeya Mizugaki and Jeff Hougland is likely.
Hougland is coming off his first loss in the UFC and his first loss in 10 fights after entering the Jabouin bout on a 9 fight win streak where he most recently was at the wrong end of a beatdown , Houghland was out matched by Canadian Yves Jabouin at UFC on Fuel TV 3 Just last month, surviving long enough to bring it to a decision despite being owned by Jabouin for a full 3 rounds.
Mizugaki is also looking to rebound from a loss as well, but unlike Hougland’s loss, this one was a rather controversial split decision back on February at UFC 144 in Japan vs. Chris Cariaaso. Even though the Judges botched the decision. At the post-event press conference UFC president Dana White stated that he felt that Mizugaki indeed won the fight and awarded him his win bonus anyway.
