Jens Pulver just keeps on fighting, after going through a miserable 6 fight losing streak, the ex-UFC lightweight Champion has put together a very respectable 4-2 record since the horrific streak. Now Pulver is set to take part in OneFC 5 in August, along with another UFC ex-champion Andre Arlovski.
Pulver has most recently bounced back from a loss, defeating Jesse Thorton, at a regional event. At the OneFC event Pulver will be taking on undefeated 7-0 Filipino fighter Eric Kelly who is the URCC featherweight Champion. Kelly is 2-0 so far in his OneFC career most recently dispatching Korean fighter Bae Young Kwon back in June via unanimous decision.
Arlovski, the once UFC lightweight Champion has had a rough career outside of the UFC, dropping 4 fights in a row after his win over Roy Nelson at EliteXC, losing to a virtual murders row of competition, Like Fedor Emelianenko, Antonio Silva and Sergei Kharitonov.
Arlovski is currently on a 2 fight win streak which he has put together under the ProElite Promotion where he most recently KO'd Travis Fulton in literally the very last second of the fight. Sadly up until that point the fight was an absolute bore. It goes to show anything can happen at any second in an MMA fight.
Arlovski will be facing Australian Soa "The Hulk" Palelei who is currently on 7 fight win streak where he most recently defeated MMA punching bag Bob Sapp in a whole 12 seconds. This will be the biggest name Palelei has fought to date.
