Ex UFC lightweight Tyson Griffin, who was released from the UFC last year, has signed a multi-fight contract with Resurrection Fighting Alliance, a Nebraska Based promotion.

Griffin was released by the UFC after losing by KO to Bart Palaszewski at UFC 137 in October, it was his fourth loss in five fights, and a real low point in his UFC career where he had previously beaten such notable UFC fighters like Clay Guida, Rafael dos Anjos and Manny Gamburyan.
Of course Griffin will look to get back into winning with RFA, and likely his long term goal will eventually be to get back to the UFC after a few solid wins. Oddly, the UFC released Griffin after his loss to Palaszewski, for whatever reason the UFC chose not to release the info until June.
Griffin, a five time UFC "Fight Of The Night" winner, was also on his way to contention before he lost his stride in the UFC. A few convincing wins will likely be all Griffin will need before Joe Silva calls again.
