One FC has just officially added two more fights to is upcoming OneFC 5: “PRIDE Of A Nation” event set for August 31. Bantamweight Bibiano Fernandes, and now Lightweight Shinya Aoki have both been booked to fight at the promotions fifth event. Adding 2 more popular fighters to the event.

OneFC recently added heavyweight Andre Arlovski and lightweight Jens Pulver to the event and now Aoki and Fernandes.

Aoki is set to face Filipino top prospect Eduard Folayang in a lightweight bout. Aoki is looking to rebound from a devastating loss to Eddie Alvarez at Bellator 66 back in April. Aoki was utterly destroyed by Alvarez who took only 2:14 to dispatch Aoki, leaving him crumbled on the mat.

Folayang who sports a 11-2 record was the URCC welterweight champion before signing with OneFC. Folayang is also looking to rebound from a tough loss to Ole Laursen at OneFC 3 back on March 31, The fight was an all back and forth out war that went all 3 rounds. Folayang lost the fight by a razor thin split decision, giving him only his second loss of his career.

Fernandes who was once thought to have signed with the UFC will make his promotional debut at this event where he will take on Australian Gustavo Falciroli who is 10-2 in his last 12 fights and is currently coming off a submission victory over Soo Chui Kim at One FC 2 back in February. Fernandes will be fighting for the first time since defeating Antonio Banuelos at Fight For Japan: Genki Desu Ka Omisoka 2011 way back on New Year’s Day 2011, it will be almost 1.5 years since he has fought professionally. Hopefully ring rust won’t be an issue for the ex DREAM champion.
