UFC's Chael Sonnen Responds to 'Rampage' Jackson's Post UFC 148 Comments

Shortly after Chael Sonnen lost his fight via TKO at UFC 148 against Champion Anderson Silva "Rampage" Jackson took some shots at the former and two time #1 middleweight contender.

Jackson, speaking with MMAElite.net said this about Sonnen:

"He sucks, I think Chael should keep his word and leave the UFC because he said that's what he'd do if he lost. And he lost horribly, bad. Chael sucks."

And of course Sonnen wasn't going to let Jackson get away with that comment without a response. While guest-hosting on "MMA Tonight" Sonnen responded:

"To keep it professional, my answer would simply be 'Rampage' has one fight left, and it's not against me," Sonnen said. "Now, had you asked me in the streets, in my kingdom amongst me people while I'm not wearing the suit and I don't have the earpiece and I'm in my sponsor's T-shirt, my answer might have been different.

"I'd probably have said, 'Hey Rampage, why don't you stick to making box-office disasters and driving the wrong way on the freeway while you're jacked up on Mountain Dew because you, 'Page, are not on my level.'"

Jackson, after doing his usual "i'm a victim, everyone takes me for granted" shtick when Dana white expressed his disappointment when learning of Jackson's Testosterone Replacement Therapy, had a bit of a tantrum and requested that he be released after he fulfills his last fight on his contract. The UFC gave him what he wanted and then set him up with the extremely dangerous Glover Teixeira at UFC 153.

So don't be surprised when Jackson signs with Asia's OneFC after UFC 153 where they won't bother testing for drugs of any kind, just like PRIDE and DREAM neglected to do back when they were promoting fights.
