ONE FC 5: 'Pride of a Nation' is set to be likely the largest MMA event ever held in the Philippines, and with several big name fighters already matched up on the card like Shinya Aoki and Bibiano Fernandes, Renato Sobral and the Phillipine's very own Eduard Folayang. Will make for a excellent event.
Today however the ONE FC brass has added 4 more fights to the card including 3 Gracies, the Gracies as we know are a lot like MMA royalty with what they have done for this sport.
Rolles Gracie (6-1) who last "fought" Bobb "Tap" Sapp is now set to fight former King of the Cage Champion Tony Bonello. Since Gracie's one and done fight in the UFC where he gassed and lost miserably to Joey Beltran, Rolles has put together a 3 fight win streak.
Igor Gracie has been matched up against (8-6) Jung Hwan Cha who is looking to rebound from a loss to UFC veteran Roan Carneiro in March. Gracie though, is looking to extend his 4 fight win streak and move his record to 6-1 professionally.
Gregor Gracie (6-2), the ONE FC veteran who has already fought twice for the promotion is matched up against 4-1 Australian Nicholas Mann, Gregor just recently lost via unanimous decision to Adam Kayoom at One FC 4 which snapped a 4 fight win streak that dated back to 2010.
The fourth fight to be announced matches up 2-0 Thai fighter Shannon Wiratchai against 3-1 American Mitch Chilson. Chilson is 1-1 under the One FC banner, losing to Eric Kelly and beating AJ Mansour.
