Well after yesterday’s bizarre announcement by Dana white that the UFC will offer a light heavyweight title shot to the winner of Mauricio “Shogun” Rua vs. Bandon Vera at UFC on FOX 4 on Saturday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. And according to Jon Jones’ Twitter post, The UFC’s odd decision also confused their current light Heavyweight champion as well.
When Jones was notified by a fan of Whites announcement via Twitter, Jones responded:
"@jonnybones The winner of Shogun vs. Vera is guaranteed #1 contender at 205."
Jones’ reply: “Scratching my head”
And I don't blame him for being confused by the UFC’s decision, cause simply put, we all are...
