Former WEC champion Ben Henderson came in as the underdog as he took on top title contender Jim Miller. Henderson showed dominace throughout the fight and won by unanimous decision breaking Miller's seven fight winning streak.
Jim Miller was easily the top contender in the division after a seven fight winning streak and was looking to extend the streak to eight, but Henderson had different plans as he looked to put himself in the title mix.
This fight was easily Henderson's best performance to date showing vast improvements in his striking, power, and wrestling as he took the fight to the ground on many different occasions and also landed accurate strikes throughout.
With the win Henderson could make a strong case for the winner of lightweight title match between Frankie Edgar Vs. Gray Marnard which will be taking place at UFC 136. It will be interesting to see what happens with Henderson from this point on.
