Bellator 51 could be headed to Canton, Ohio. The Canton Memorial Civic Center would be the likely venue. Bellator 51 features the first round of the Season five bantamweight tournament. The impressive bracket features Bellator featherweight champion Joe Warren, Marcos Galvao, Luis Alberto Nogueira, Alexis Vila, and possibly Joe Soto. Though Soto’s return is unconfirmed after his loss to Eddie Yagin at TPF 10.
Bellator signs Rasul Mirzaev
Bellator has signed Russian featherweight prospect Rasul Mirzaev. The undefeated Mirzaev is the latest signing for the US promotion that has shown a commitment to signing talented fighters from Eastern Europe
The “Black Tiger” is an explosive striker who last fought Masanori Kanehara at Fight Nights- Battle of Moscow 4 on July 7. Mirzaev steamrolled the former Sengoku featherweight champion with a first round TKO at the 1:44 mark.
Mirzaev’s debut has yet to be announced.Yhis guy is an exciting prospect from europe and i cant wait to see his debut.
