
Jake Shields appears to finally be making his way back into the UFC's octagon after serving out his suspension for failing his UFC 150 drug test back in August of 2012 where he fought UFC veteran Ed Herman in a fight Shields won via unanimous decision but was later overturned by the commission to a no contest.
The rumor right, and we'll call one, comes from sources close to mmajunkie.com has the two welterweights (Shields is dropping back down) set to face off on a card that is targeted for Canada on June 15th, at what could possibly be UFC 161, the fight could land in either 2 cities, Calgary or Toronto considering Montreal is hosting UFC 158 shortly.
White has vowed he will return to Calgary this year hoping to make up for UFC 149, that was dubbed as the worst UFC show in history, due to the incredible amount of injuries that had affected the card from the main event all the way down to the prelims.
Woodley is coming off his UFC debut where he absolutely crushed ex-UFC fighter Jay Hieron with one punch, KO'ing Hieron in 36 seconds of the 1st round.
