Highly regarded top Australian Heavyweight knock-out artist and powerhouse Soa "The Hulk" Palelei has finally gotten what he's been campaigning for years, a second chance in the UFC.
Palelei's management announced the news today that their client Soa "The Hulk" Palelei has signed a four fight deal with the UFC.
the 18-3 Palelei has amassed a very impressive record as of late, putting together a 10-1 record where the heavyweight is currently riding a 8 fight win streak. As impressive as his recent record is, even more impressively Palelei has also finished all 8 of his last opponents by KO or TKO.
Palelei most recently defended his AFC Heavyweight title, taking only 1:45 to TKO Sean McCorkle back in December.

Soa “The Hulk” Palelei has signed a four-fight contact with The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). This will be Soa’s second stint with the UFC after being with the organization briefly in 2007. However, the Heavyweight from Australia is now a different fighter and has not lost a fight since 2010. He is currently on an eight fight-winning streak, including seven first round TKOs. All of The Hulk’s 18 career wins have come via finish and he promises to bring this same exciting style to the Octagon.
The Hulk said the following about being in the UFC, “I'm thankful to Dana White and Joe Silva for giving me this opportunity to come back to the UFC to showcase my skills. With determination, hard work and a great team, I’m happy to say that today I have signed with the UFC. I look forward to competing in the best organization in the world.”
Palelei first stint in the UFC was back in 2007 vs. Eddie Sanchez where he lost via a late in the 3rd round TKO. 11 fights later the only person he's lost too was Daniel Cormier back in 2010.
