Hot on the heels of Soa Palelei's announcement that he just signed a four fight deal with the UFC, is his first fight announcement which will place him up against Stipe Miocic at UFC 161 in Winnipeg which was just announced.

According to the UFC, they will make their way into Winnipeg Canada for the first time in the promotions history. 

The 18-3 Palelei who has finished every single one of his 18 fights, and is currently riding a 8 fight win streak as well will look to finally make an impact in the UFC after campaigning heavily for the last 2 years to get re-signed by the promotion in hopes of erasing his 1st fight against Eddie Sanchez which he lost by TKO in late in the 3rd round.

After starting out 9-0, Miocic on the other hand was just served up his only loss of his career to Stephan Struve. back in September losing via TKO late in the 2nd round in a very hard fought fight. 

UFC 161 is set for June 15, 2013 at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
