December 7 marks the final XFC event of 2012. XFC 21: Night of Champions II will take place from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium featuring one of the biggest fights in the history of the promotion, a Lightweight Title fight between standout Eric Reynolds and undefeated Nick Newell live on AXStv.

The date is set, the location has been named, and it is now official, Nick “Notorious” Newell, 8-0 as a pro, and a perfect 3-0 as an XFC fighter will get a shot at the XFC Lightweight Championship on December 7th in Nashville Tennessee broadcast to the World, Live on AXStv.

XFC Officials announced the Co-Main event of the second Night of Champions event as a Welterweight bout between two XFC vets, Corey “The Real Deal” Hill and Ryan “The Tank Engine” Thomas. Set for December 7 and broadcasting live from Nashville on Axstv, the bout has been added to the already stacked line up that also features a Lightweight Championship bout between Eric Reynolds and Nick Newell, Females Stephanie Eggink vs Heather Clark, as well as Open Fighter Tryout winner Jason Hicks vs recent signee Kevin Forant.

The XFC has really stepped it up so far in 2012 bringing some exciting events and some pretty stacked cards to us this year, and XFC 20: High Octane is no exception. XFC 20 goes down tonight in Knoxville at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum and will feature a main event bout between Italian Lorenzo Borgomeo and American Eric Reynolds. In the co-main event the XFC will place one of their top prospects, Scott "Hot Sauce Holtzman against veteran Chris Coggins. 

Corey Hill, scheduled to participate in the XFC 19: Charlotte Showdown main event on August 3, received a call last night from XFC President John Prisco that his opponent Jason South has dropped from the fight for personal reasons. Prisco extended the invitation to replace South with 14-5-1 Mike Bronzoulis, to which Hill quickly agreed saying “Let’s do this!”  The change, announced publicly today via XFC staff, comes just a few short weeks before the promotion ventures into Charlotte, North Carolina for the first time.

Four years ago some people questioned whether Corey Hill would ever be able to compete in MMA again. In 2010, Hill suffered a gruesome leg break, snapping his lower leg nearly in two, during the second round of his fight with Dale Hartt.  

Just months after making his debut with the promotion, Corey “The Real Deal” Hill has come to terms with the East Coast’s largest MMA promotion, XFC, on a long term contract. A deal that could give Hill a future title shot with the quickly rising promotion. John Prisco, XFC President & matchmaker, who has added numerous fighters to the roster already in 2012, disclosed the signing early this morning.

XFC Open Fighter Tryouts were held this past weekend in Springfield, Massachusetts with over 100 fighters in attendance competing for a spot in the East Coast’s largest promotion, the XFC. Fighters came not only from across the state, but from across the country as well.

Avery “Psycho” Vilche will replace Sophia Bagherdai in the feature bout of XFC 18 : Music City Mayhem June 22nd Live on HDNet. Due to an injury sustained in training camp, Bagherdai will put her XFC debute on hold. The XFC media staff announced the “Hurricane” Heather Jo Clark will take on Vilche in a catch weight bout at 120lbs.
